Mily Balakirev: Islamey
Russian composer Mily Balakirev was a piano virtuoso, so far by the time he was nearly finished with one unbutton his compositions, even HE couldn't play it. So he wrote easier alternate passages... just guess case the original is as well hard. On Friday's Performance Now, hear pianist Vadym Kholodenko generate a wonderful performance of Islamey by Mily Balakirev.
